Olafur Arnalds, aka one of the greatest musicians working today, has posted a great deal of sheet music from all of his albums on his website for free download.
However, he’s also added the option to make a donation if you’re so inclined.
This is a growing trend amongst musicians today, and I whole-heartedly support it. I find myself more and more often grabbing MP3s for free (legally of course) and then if I decide I like the album picking it up on vinyl.
Of course, if you’re Coldplay then I buy your album several times, and buy floor seats for your concerts…
